New Delhi, May 21 (IANS) A Cairo International Film Festival representative has invited India as a partner country for the movie extravaganza, to be held in November. Soheir Abd El Kader, vice president of Cairo International Film festival, called on India's Information and Broadcasting Secretary Uday Kumar Varma to discuss India's participation as a partner country in the forthcoming edition of the Cairo gala. The matter was discussed at the ongoing 66th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival, where India is a guest country this year, said a statement.
