Prawns Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • Prawns -1/2kg
  • Chopped onions -3
  • Chopped green chilly -1
  • Kashmiri chilli powder-3tsp
  • Coriander powder -3tsp
  • Pepper Powder -1tsp
  • Grated coconut -1 cup (Make a thin paste)
  • Ginger-garlic paste -1tsp
  • Garam masala -2pinch
  • Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Curry leaves- 12 leaves
  • Oil – 40ml

Preparation

  1. Clean and cook the prawns with salt and turmeric.
  2. Fry onions and green chillies in oil. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry.
  3. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and garam masala one by one and sauté well each time . Add coconut paste and fry till it gets cooked.
  4. Add prawns and fry till the prawns turn golden brown. Fry curry leaves separately in a little oil and mix with the prawns.
