Ingredients
- Instant Gulab Jamun Mix : 1 packet
- Spinach : 500gms
- Ginger garlic paste : 1tbs
- Green chili paste : ½ tsp
- Tomato puree : 2tbs
- Red chili powder : 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
- Coriander powder : 1tbs
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Preparation
Make the gulab jamun balls following the instructions on the packet. Fry the balls and keep them aside as koftas. Boil the spinach in salted water and drain out maximum water. Cool completely and make a paste. Heat two tablespoons of oil and sauté ginger-garlic paste. Add green chilly paste and mix well. Add the spinach paste and sauté for two minutes. Then add turmeric powder, chili powder and coriander powder. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add tomato puree and salt to taste and cook till the gravy is thick. Add the koftas and mix in gently. Serve hot with chapattis.
