Ingredients
- Fish – 500 gm
- Onion – 55 gm
- Ginger – 10 gm
- Salt – to taste
- Coconut – 1
- Curry Leaves – 1 sprig
- Garlic – a few
- Green Chillies – 10 gm
- Vinegar – 1/2tsp
- Lime – 1 large
- Water – 115 ml
- Potatoes – 225 gm
- Turmeric – a large pinch
- Oil – 15 ml
Method
Peel and slice garlic, ginger and onions. Slit green chillies.
Make 2 extracts of coconut milk.
Heat oil and sauté onions till soft. Add turmeric and cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, curry leaves, green chillies, fish and potatoes.
Add the second extract of coconut milk and salt. Cook gently.
Add the first extract of coconut milk. Bring to boiling point.
Add lime juice and vinegar.
