Ingredients
- 200gm dates (cut into small pieces)
- 150 ml water
- 75gm butter
- 100gm powdered sugar
- 12 walnuts (cut into small pieces)
- 1 egg
- 50gm white flour
- 1tsp vanilla essence
- 1tsp baking powder
- ¼tsp salt
Preparation
- Soak the date pieces in water for 6 hours.
- Beat butter and sugar, and then add egg and vanilla essence.
- Then add flour, salt and baking powder.
- Finally add walnuts and dates.
- Mix all ingredients well and bake in a greased mould.
