Coconut Burfi Recipe

Ingredients

  • Grated coconut – 1 ½ cups
  • Sugar – 1 ½ cups
  • Milk Powder – ½ cups
  • Butter – 1 dessert spoon
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Any food color – a drop

Method

Grease a dish with butter. Pour the color drop in water.  Add the sugar and make syrup.  Heat the syrup till it becomes one thread consistency. Add grated coconut and mix well. Remove from fire and sprinkle the milk powder.  Stir quickly till well mixed.  Pour it into a greased dish.  When it becomes cool, cut into pieces.
