Ingredients
Chana – 1 cup, soaked in water for 6 hours
Tomato – 1 cup, diced
Onion – 1 cup, chopped
Ginger – 2 tsp, chopped
Garlic – 2 tsp, chopped
Green Chillies – 2, sliced
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tbs
Cumin Powder – 1 tbs
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam MasalaPowder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves – 2 tbs, chopped
Ghee- 2 tbs
Salt – as per taste
Preparation
Pressure – cook the chana till soft. Heat ghee in a pan. Add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add green chillies, garlic and ginger. Sauté for 3 minutes and add tomato and cook till soft. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and sauté well. Add chana and mix well. Add 1 cup of hot water. Cook in low flame without covering the pan for about 10minutes. Addgaram masala and coriander leaves. Garnish with chopped onion while serving.
