Kolkata, May 05 (ANI): Union Rural Development Minister, Jairam Ramesh today ended the seven year long impasse with West Bengal government by allotting Rs 4000 crore for upgradation and construction of new roads under the Prime Ministers rural road connectivity scheme. Ramesh added that the state government would be sending the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for this upgradation by October 24. Ramesh revealed another demand of the state government for the construction of 4000 kilometres of road in the state, application for which would be submitted to the central government till June 24.
