New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Bollywood actor Vidya Balan who has been in news for her act in The Dirty Picture has now got a new role to portray, but this time it is for a clear picture . The government has appointed Balan as the brand ambassador for its flagship rural sanitation programme. All excited for her new role, Balan expressed concern over the acute lack of awareness among rural masses on the issue of sanitation. Meanwhile, Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh expressed his confidence on newly appointed ambassador adding that she would help to turn the sanitation issue into a ‘national obsession .
