Mumbai/New Delhi, June 23 (ANI): The idiot box continues to face tussle over what is acceptable material and what is not, reflecting a wider debate about censorship in a country proud of its status as the world’s largest democracy. The ironic whip of the censor board can be harsh at times, trying its best to balance on the fine thread of morality, in an otherwise free nation. The censors of course back themselves claiming that a large section of the Indian audience was more likely to misconstrue content served on television.
