New Delhi, July 07 (ANI): Urban Development Secretary, Sudhir Krishna today declared the temporary shutdown of operations of Delhi airport metro line owing to technical defects. Speaking to media persons in New Delhi, Krishna said that the decision to halt the operation of the metro was taken with an aim to fix the technical snag. DMRC Chief, Mangu Singh said that it was important to fix the technical snag at the earliest, as they cannot compromise with the safety of the passengers. Meanwhile, Chief of Infrastructure of Reliance Infra, Sumit Banerjee dismissed the reports of the line being closed down owing to the loss incurred by the company.
