New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS) It was a sunny morning for the capital Friday with the minimum temperature settling at the season’s average of 26.5 degrees Celsius. The Met department forecast light rain later in the day.
“The sky would remain generally cloudy towards afternoon. Thundery development is possible in some areas,” said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“Maximum and minimum temperatures would stay around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius,” the official added.
Humidity remained high at 89 percent in the morning at 8.30 a.m.
Maximum temperature recorded Thursday was 33.1 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
