As the Air India pilots strike entered its second day today, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh termed the strike illegal calling their approach wrong and said things should have been discussed before taking such extreme steps. Singh said that while the government is trying to bail out the national carrier, it was expected that the pilots would cooperate and act responsibly.
