Bhubaneswar, May 18 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik,disclosed that his party, the BJD endorsed former Speaker of Lok Sabha PA Sangma’s name as the Presidential candidate. Adressing mediapersons in Bhubaneshwar, he added that he also had the support of Jayalalithaa, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile in New Delhi, Sangma said that the Tribal Forum of India had spoken to the BJP and was awaiting a response from the ruling Congress party on whether he would have their support.
