Moscow, July 21 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Fabio Capello’s incoming assistant coach in the Russian national team has spoken of his excitement about the new challenge.
Oreste Cinquini is abandoning the post of sporting director at Serie C-2 side Unione Venezia to provide technical assistance to Capello, who is expected to be officially unveiled next week.
“For me, it opens a new adventure and an ambitious challenge,” Cinquini was quoted as saying to the Venezia website.
Baldini took care of technical issues such as scouting and staff management.
Capello and Cinquini are in Russia this weekend to watch the first round of Premier League matches; CSKA Moscow vs. FC Rostov Saturday and Zenit St. Petersburg vs. Amkar Perm Sunday.
