New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Dismissing BJP leader Satpal Jain s allegation that UPA s nominee for the presidential election, Pranab Mukherjee, has been holding the post of chairman of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Mukherjee’s office has claimed that the veteran Congressman had resigned from the ISI office recently. It also added that Mukherjee has not been drawing salary or any allowances entitled to him as the ISI chairman. Earlier, reacting on PA Sangma s allegation that UPA s presidential nominee Mukherjee holds an office of profit, the BJP had said that Mukherjee s nomination should be cancelled.
