Thiruvananthapuram, July 05 (ANI): UPA s presidential candidate, Pranab Mukherjee has snubbed his opposition’s claim that his resignation letter to Indian Statistical Institute was a fabricated one, asking that how can one ‘forge’ his own signature. Interacting with reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Mukherjee said that he has not forged any signature and mocked at his critics for such illogical allegations. Mukherjee’s office and the Kolkata based institute both have stated that the veteran Congressman had resigned well before filing his Presidential nomination. Apart from Congress led United Progressive Alliance even opposition parties such as the Janata Dal United (JD U), the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI M) and the rightist radical Shiv Sena have extended their support to Mukherjee.
