New Delhi, May 01 (ANI): Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul, currently on a visit to New Delhi today said that a political approach to fight Taliban was important even as he clarified that his government would indulge in talks with only those groups who recognized the need for a democratic setup and maintained the sanctity of human rights in the tarnished region. Throwing light on the first session of the India Afghanistan Partnership Council, Rassoul said that he had discussed keys political, economic, cultural and military issues in a bid to improve strategic partnership between the two nations. He noted that India s contribution in training Afghanistan s national security forces would be pivotal with the end of the international military operations in the country in 2014.
