Pol parties oppose Petrol price hike, seek roll back

New Delhi/ Mumbai/West Bengal, May 24 (ANI): Leaders of various political parties including a coalition partner in the government assailed the sudden hike in prices of petrol by 7.50 rupees. Discontented with the hike of petrol, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad in Mumbai said that the common man is already reeling under inflationary pressure and the hike is nothing but a burden for a common man. Meanwhile in Kolkata Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her serious objections to the hike. Voicing similar views CPI National Secretary D Raja said that the hike in the prices of petrol would have a cascading effect.
