Tehran, Jan 20 (IANS) Over 200 people have been injured in an earthquake in northeast Iran, Xinhua reported Friday.
The 5.6-magnitude tremor struck at 12:35 GMT Thursday. The epicentre was located in Neyshabur region, about 60 km from the northeastern holy city of Mashhad.
Of the 228 injured, 38 were hospitalised, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
