New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Amidst growing protests over the deaths of students Richard Loitam in Bangalore, and Dana Sangma in Gurgaon, and the subsequent discontent among the people hailing from the North East, the issue of discrimination and safety of its citizens rocked the Parliament today again. Leader of Opposition in the Rajya sabha, Arun Jaitley reiterated his concern for assuring safety and security of students from the North East. Union Home Minister, P. Chidambaram said that every student from the North East essentially had the right to travel to any part of the country and seek education.
