Naxals violating Human Rights

Jharkhand, April 6 (ANI): Purni Devi, a resident of Topchanchi Village in s Dhanbad District, is living in destitution. Her husband, Durga Prasad, was publicly gunned down by Naxals for allegedly being a police informer. A mother of three daughters, Purni has no financial or moral support, and is forced to live a miserable life. A growing threat to India s internal security Maoists are seen as the major violators of human rights. The Naxals largely indulge in kidnapping and extortion, causing insecurity and economic instability in regions where they operate.
