Ranchi/ New Delhi, March 23 (ANI): China is backing the Maoist led insurgency in India. The first major piece of evidence in this regard came to light with the arrest of two cadres of India s North East based insurgent group, the People s Liberation Army (PLA) in New Delhi on October 8, 2011. N Dilip Singh and Arun Kumar Singh Salam revealed to police that the chief of the political wing of PLA Irengbam Chaoren is hiding in China. His outfit, now based in Myanmar, is helping procure Chinese arms with funding from Pakistan s Inter services Intelligence that are supplied to Naxals in India.
