Mumbai, Aug 11 (ANI): Protest in Mumbai today turned violent in wake of the recent ethnic clashes in Myanmar and Assam. The protestors allegedly torched media vans as well as other vehicles. The protests were being led by Raza academy and were supported by many other Muslim organizations. According to media reports, more than five people were injured in the violence. Deadly summer riots between the Muslim Rohingya and Buddhist majority had forced many to flee to neighbouring Bangladesh, where the European Union said 40,000 unregistered Rohingya already live in makeshift camps.
