Mumbai police rescue 13 girls involved in prostitution

Mumbai, April 27 (ANI): Continuing the drive against prostitution, Mumbai police raided a bar and rescued 13 girls, who were allegedly forced into immoral trafficking. S.Bhalerao, Senior Mumbai police officer, said that the girls have been rescued and eight others who were forcefully pushing them into prostitution have been arrested. According to media reports, more than hundred girls have been rescued in the last one month from bars, saloons and massage centres, which were functioning as prostitution dens, and cases have been registered against the people arrested under the PITA (Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act).
