Mumbai, April 27 (ANI): After media speculations claimed Sachin Tendulkar s Rajya Sabha candidature yesterday, the Indian film fraternity offered a mixed response to the government’s decision. Bollywood actor, Javed Jaffrey, expressed confidence that Tendulkar was a sensible person and would discharge his duties with utmost sincerity. Bollywood producer, Smita Thackeray, who felt that a sportsman of his stature must earn even more recognition, added that the country would wholeheartedly support him in whatever he does.
