New Delhi, April 15 (ANI): The voting for civil polls began in New Delhi today with police personnel keeping a strict vigil as electorates came out in large numbers to exercise their franchise. According to reports, 2,423 candidates would participate in the elections, which is being held in 272 wards in the city. State Women and Child Development Minister, Kiran Walia, called on the voters to exercise their right.
