Gumla, April 13 (ANI): Acting with brazen impunity, Maoist ultras killed a woman and her husband in the Gumla district of Jharkhand. According to locals, the Maoists shot down the couple in cold blood after calling them outside their home in a village near Gumla. Police asserted that the assailants were members of the banned extremist outfit, Peoples’ Liberation Front of India (PLFI). The tragic story exemplifies the turmoil faced and suffered by scores of rural and tribal households caught in the vicious onslaught of left wing extremism.
