Bijapur, Aug 04 (ANI): Fear of Maoists in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh drove locals to migrate to safer havens, owing to threat to their lives. In most cases, people move to other places for better employment opportunities, but here the case is altogether different. Regular threats by the rebels have left the distraught, leaving them with no other option but to migrate. The locals have urged the police and state authorities to take action, but there has been no improvement in the situation. Locals were very apprehensive to even step out of their houses, owing to the threat of the ultras.
