Bhopal, April 29 (ANI): In a statement that may raise many eyebrows, senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh minister, Aziz Qureshi, today said that his appointment as the Governor of Uttarakhand was due to the “blessings” of the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi. Qureshi further said that he had “always been loyal to the Gandhi Nehru family”, and his appointment showed that the loyalty was rewarded. He further added that rampant corruption was an important issue and needed to be dealt with on an individual level.
