Lucknow, March 17 (ANI): Actor turned politician Jaya Bachchan today filed her nomination for Rajya Sabha in Lucknow as a Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate. Bachchan filed her nomination before the Returning Officer in presence of newly elected state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Bachchan was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2004 as a SP nominee. She, however, declined the offer to be re nominated after completing her term in 2010.
