New Delhi, Aug 20 (ANI): The nation today paid homage to former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, on his 68th birth anniversary at his memorial Veer Bhumi in New Delhi Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President Pranab Mukherjee, and Vice President Hamid Ansari were among the first to pay homage at the memorial. Sonia and her daughter Priyanka Gandhi and several other cabinet colleagues attended the prayer meeting held on the occasion. Rajiv Gandhi was Indias youngest ever prime minister. Morning Ragas were played at the memorial as the country remembered the late beloved leader.
