Gorakhpur, May 21 (ANI): Gorakhpur is situated in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The city named after the medieval saint Gorakshanath, has been home to many saints of different communities. Today, it is known for religious tolerance and harmony between different communities that live here. The annual Urs or death anniversary of Hazrat Syed Salaar Masood Gaazi Rehmatullah exemplifies this spirit of communal harmony. This is reflected in good relations between Hindu and Muslim devotees who come to the mausoleum to pay obeisance to the Sufi saint in large numbers from across India.
