Uttarkashi/ Haridwar, Aug 4 (ANI): After the flash floods triggered by a cloudburst near Uttarkashi adversely affected 2000 people, the authorities now have warned locals in Haridwar to move to safe places as the river Ganges crossed the danger mark due to incessant rainfall. Talking to reporters, sub divisional officer of irrigation department, Vijay Veer Yadav said that the area is at the risk of getting floods as the level of river Ganges has touched 294.40 on the measuring scale. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand chief minister Vijay Bahuguna has said that the government is preparing for relief measures for the locals so that they could move to safe havens.
