Barmer, Aug 30 (ANI): Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi today lashed at BJP at a rally in Barmer district of Rajasthan for politicizing various burning issues affecting the country and for not allowing the parliament to function smoothly. Given the current economic scenario where extensive debate and passage of reforms is the need of the hour, parliamentary paralysis is only adding to Indias economic woes. Gandhi said that the country is facing the impact of the global economic slowdown and pressed for collective effort to overcome it. Gandhis rare public utterance marked a deepening of tensions between Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
