New Delhi, April 24 (ANI): Special Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Aniruddh Uppal has that said that Maoism could be curbed by initiating development projects in extremism hit areas. Talking to mediapersons after attending the CRPF investiture ceremony in New Delhi, Uppal said that the CRPF was working jointly with the state police to curb Maoist menace in several states. Talking about decline in militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, Uppal hailed the efforts of the state police and CRPF in curbing militancy terror from the sensitive region.
