New Delhi, June 2 (ANI): A Delhi court today dismissed the plea of 1984 anti Sikh riots accused Sajjan Kumar, a former lawmaker of Congress, in which he had asked for permission to confront complainants with the affidavits signed by them before the G. T. Nanavati and Ranganath Mishra Commissions of enquiry. One of the prosecutors in the case, R. S. Cheema, had said in 2010 that the statements and affidavits could not be used as they were contradictory. Addressing the media persons prosecution lawyer H. S. Phoolka said that as per the Commission of Enquiry Act, 1952, confronting witnesses with their affidavits and statements was inadmissible.
