Johannesburg, Sep 23 (ANI): Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur and South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, jointly inaugurated the 9th World Hindi Conference at Johannesburg in South Africa. Addressing the gathering Kaur said that India was trying its best to promote Hindi across the globe. Meanwhile Gordhan, in fact a person of Indian origin, observed that Hindi was among the languages that enriched his countrys culture. South Africas junior Foreign Minister Marius Fransman and Art and Culture Minister of Mauritius Mukeshwar Chunni were also present at the occasion. The event featured an array of Hindi books and pamphlets on display at an exhibition organized to mark the occasion
