Varanasi, June 7 (ANI): It was raining heavily but it did not dampen the spirit of voters as they turned out in large number to cast their vote for Children s Parliament in Varanasi. Children between the age group of 5 13 years set the example, for adults who prefer to stay at home rather than cast their vote, as they lined up exercise their franchise. Children contested the elections to elect their representatives for their parliament, where they will take up issues, which affect them. Voting in charge, Rajiv Srivastava, said that the candidates had tried their best to spread the message that elections could be won without using communal tactics.
