New Delhi, April 29 (ANI): Union Commerce & Textiles Minister Anand Sharma has said that the ban imposed on cotton exports is actually meant to review its availability situation. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, Sharma also said that the Cotton Advisory Board s recent assessment is being looked into by the government for the next plan of action. Sharma further said that the revalidation of some items of cotton export has already been done which was earlier being covered under the scrutiny of the ban imposed.
