Antony assures stringent action in Tatra deal case

New Delhi, May 2 (ANI): Defence Minister, AK Antony has said that the government is clean and assures strict action against culprits involved in corruption in the procurement of Tatra heavy duty trucks for the army. Clarifying the government s standing in Rajya Sabha today, Antony said that the CBI is probing the matter and actions would be taken in accordance to the investigation. Antony further said that the government has taken a serious note on the procurement issues and during investigation, the CBI has recommended to blacklist six companies, including four foreign and two Indian companies. Antony added the process is time consuming, however, strong actions would be taken.
