Abuja, Jan 27 (IANS) Fifteen traders were shot dead by gunmen at a market in northeastern Nigeria Thursday, police said.
They victims had gone to Birninmagaji market in Zamfara state to sell their goods.
The attackers had barricaded a road to rob traders of their belongings, Xinhua reported.
The bodies were later set ablaze by the hoodlums, who then escaped into the bush.
