- Drink a lot of water or nonalcoholic drinks. Even if you do not feel thirsty it is good to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.
- Include plenty of fruits in your daily diet. Water melon, pear, and grapes are the best ones.
- Spend more hours in air-conditioned places during summer. Give preference to air-conditioned public places
- Use thick curtains to avoid hot sun rays entering your home
- Use light weight, loose cotton clothes
- Take cold showers will keep you cool
- Try to stock all necessary items for a week so that you can avoid shopping
- Go for light colours when you choose clothes
- When you park the car somewhere make sure that all the windows are closed properly
