Moscow, March 5 (IANS) Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has won the presidential election with about 64 percent of the votes, the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) announced Monday. CEC Chairman Vladimir Churov announced the preliminary result of the election after 99.30 percent of the ballots were counted early Monday, Xinhua reported.
