Havana, May 16 (IANS) After a four-year absence, Cuba will send a team to participate in America group III of Davis Cup tennis to be held June 17-22 in La Paz, Bolivia, the National Tennis Commission (NTC) announced here. NTC Commissioner Juan Antonio Ramos said Cuba's squad comprises four players - national champion Randy Blanco, William Dorante, Roberto Cruz, and Alberto Victor Fernandez. Havana, May 15 (IANS) Olympic finalist Hanser Garcia leads Cuba's eight-member national team that will take part in the 2013 Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championship (CCCAN) slated for July 1 to 7 in Costa Rica. Luisa Maria Mojarrieta, Garcia's coach, said the CCCAN will be a good opportunity for the swimmers to face quality rivals before participating in the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain, from July 19 to Aug 4, reports Xinhua.

Speaking at the opening of the 33rd International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2013), held at the beach resort of Varadero, Marrero Tuesday said Cuba currently has nearly 60,000 hotel rooms, 65 percent of which belong to four- or five-star hotels, reported Xinhua.
